He is Todd Dodge with a more fiery demeanor. Todd Dodge was pretty reserved, but I remember watching University of North Texas film and our coaches laughing at how poorly coached they were.

Lamar, along with SFA, Sam Houston, Central Arkansas, and ACU bolted the Southland for the WAC because they thought they were above the Southland and the other Southland schools were holding them back

But Lamar was never good in football since starting their program, and realized they may have made a mistake. Outscored 236-85 in conference play last year and retreated back to the Southland
