In a way its somewhat a by product of the 3-3-5. When you aren't putting any pressure on the other team's offense you're not going to cause them to panic and make mistakes. However when dropping 8 as much as we do surely you think we'd get a bit more interceptions

True but there is also an element of luck with turnovers. Just like that last fumble ISU got. More luck than good defense.
