“you are looking LIVE at the beautiful scene in Miami as we prepare for kickoff in the inaugural Banana Bowl presented by Astroglide!”Well, it seems we are on a glide path to the Sponsor Of The Month Bowl.

Wonder who the opponent would be. Guess some mid level sec. hope it’s a team we haven’t played in a while.
Had a dream during the summer that I posted we would play Auburn in a Bowl game. Still possible but I also thought it would be the Rose Bowl. So there's that. Go FrogsWonder who the opponent would be. Guess some mid level sec. hope it’s a team we haven’t played in a while.
I think the SEC team in the Liberty will likely be Tennessee or Kentucky.
Weird question in any other year but, is anyone actually planning on attending a bowl game in person regardless of where it is?
I was there for that one. Cold and wet. LaMarcus McDonald was a beast that night.I used to have a video of the 2002 Liberty Bowl game against CSU...my most favorite TCU performance (of those I've seen, at any rate). The enthusiasm and "fire" of the Frogs was just amazing...from start to finish they were all over CSU like white on rice. I hope I've not lost that file...maybe I'll search for it tonight...
It felt like that was the true starting point of Patterson’s era, Colorado State was ranked and had several NFL guys on that team, and the Frogs rolled em. One of my favorite bowl game trips!I was there for that one. Cold and wet. LaMarcus McDonald was a beast that night.

McDonald showed his colors in this game........watched it in Abu Dhabi at a bar....only Frog there. It was like he knew the play as Van Pelt was calling the signal. Stilley pulled us through.......that's what a serviceable backup is supposed to do......if you have one.
I was really hoping they would wind up in the Houston bowl, is that still possible?
I don’t understand this thinking. I’ve spent the better part of the last 35 years finding ways of staying out of Houston.
Every time I'm there my first thought is "how the hell did I live here for 10+ years?"
