Ulitmate Spring: Four local HS alums shine in TCU victory

Texas Christian University took on UT Pan American in college baseball action on Wednesday, scoring a 5-1 victory--their fifth straight. Four local high school alums helped out in the win.
Klein Collins High School graduate Aaron Schultz went 1-for-4 with two RBIs in the victory. He talked about his hit that put the Horned Frogs up early, saying, "It seems like at the beginning of the year everything we hit was being caught, whether it was hard or soft. Today to get my hit to fall was lucky, but it scored a couple runs and put us on the board and we got rolling from there."
Schultz earned four varsity letters for head coach Kent Meador at Klein Collins High School, and was named the District Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore. He was honored as a first-team all-district, second-team all-Greater Houston and second-team all-state as a senior. Schultz was also tabbed as a Louisville Slugger Honorable Mention All-American as a senior and earned his team's Defensive MVP honors following his senior season.
Aaron's parents are Russel and Donna and he is majoring in movement science. ...
