Does TCU not hosting HS playoff games help or hurt with recruiting? I know most HS coaches like the field to be turf for the playoffs.

TCU probably doesn't want to host because of the wear on the grass with a bowl game coming.
Coaches probably want to avoid playing on grass fields. Had they played at TCU on Saturday that rain would have affected things.
