Cowgirls fall as TCU hits free throw in final seconds for 64-63 victory
Lauren Heard made a free throw with two seconds left as TCU edged Oklahoma State, 64-63, on Wednesday night in women's basketball in Fort Worth, Texas.
Lauren Fields, who finished with a career high 26 points for Oklahoma State, hit a 3-pointer with nine seconds left to tie the game at 63-63 before Heard was fouled and hit the second of two free throws for the win.
Lexy Keys added 13 points for the Cowgirls, who fell to 6-7 on the season, 1-3 in the Big 12.
