For much of an OSU fan base that has grown accustomed to winning, though, this regular-season finale showcased why this season won’t soon be missed.
There are a number of words that can be used to describe a 6-6 football team, which Oklahoma State became after a 31-24 loss to another 6-6 team, TCU, at Amon G. Carter Stadium on Saturday. There’s the obvious one: Average. There are the synonyms: Undistinguished, pedestrian, mediocre.
