Travel Packages

Yea, we randomly booked the same hotel that had been offered for the Rose Bowl trip back on 2010, only at a fraction of the price. We were shocked to see all the purple there.

We did the same- picked a random hotel. We arrive and there’s a giant “W” projected on the wall. Valets are wearing “Beat TCU” pins. We quickly discovered we were staying at the Wisconsin team/alum hotel.

"Please note: Game tickets are NOT included in travel packages."

lol what's included besides getiing jipped. TCU should be embarrassed at taking advantage of alumni at such an insane rate. I would never donate to TCU again if I got burned that bad on a travel package

I get it - maybe ultra wealthy donors are lazy or whatever but i swore TCU used to do tickets + team hotel in one package before

You don't have to buy the package. You can do your own thing.

We briefly considered the travel package, but I think we will make the drive and book our own place.

Pretty sure the rose bowl travel package included airfare and the chartered flight was pretty dope with it being entirely filled with fellow Frogs.

$3000 (total for 2 people) for a 3 night stay, a bus to/from the stadium, and a tailgate seems insane without including airfare.

I remember back then “informing” AA of the huge pax demand for that game, cant remember how many jets TCU charted but AA added frequency……these days I dont think they have the planes, gates, pilots, maintenance support to do anything!

Had the opposite experience. We randomly booked the TCU team hotel. Awesome!
