Why don't they do that by % ?

agreed, wvu and tcu have only been in the big 12 for 11 seasons compared to the other 8 schools who have been there since the conference began in the 90's

here are the conference win totals since 2012

ou 77-21
osu 62-37
ksu 57-42
tcu 56-43
texas 55-43
baylor 55-44
wvu 47-51
isu 39-60
tech 36-63
kansas 9-89

there are 4 schools that only played 98 regular season conference games in those 11 seasons due to cancelling a game for covid in 2020

what strikes me about the 11 year numbers is not the top or the cluster of 4 teams near the top is the 3 teams at the bottom

here is the breakdown of outright or shared regular season conference titles in this 11-year time period

ou 6
baylor 3
tcu 2
ksu 1
osu 1
isu 1

I guess. I missed “regular season” but I’m pretty opposed to claiming a title that doesn’t exist.

not claiming a title as much as just counting the things that have been a constant since 2012.

feel free to add the other information, was on hold when i looked that stuff up and got busy

Nothing to add. I missed an important word and thought we were claiming a title. I’m all clear now.

He was referring to regular season, which KSU didn't win in 23. At least I think that's what he meant.
there's no such thing as a regular season championship. sadly, the league went to a championship game. i believe that's wrong headed. but it is how champions are determined.
