FORT WORTH — You have to do the little things to beat good teams.
Turning double plays, being effective on the basepaths and finding hitting are essential in upset attempts.
Unfortunately, UTA didn’t do much of that Tuesday night against No. 7 Texas Christian, getting picked off the bases twice in crucial situations of a 7-3 loss at Lupton Stadium.
“It’s stupid,” head coach Darin Thomas said. “It’s absolutely stupid. There’s no reason for it.” ...
