Arrion Springs had a date with someone special as soon as he landed in his hometown of San Antonio for the Alamo Bowl.
 
Springs had been imagining this reunion since he left Texas to play football at Oregon. It was a craving the Northwest couldn’t satisfy, magnified by time and multiplied by distance.
 
The object of Springs’ affection was a triple cheeseburger with bacon, no veggies and honey butter on the side from Whataburger, the Texas-based fast food chain he once frequented. He has yet to find a suitable West Coast substitute, and don’t even bother arguing the merits of In-N-Out.
 
“(Whataburger) kills it,” said Springs, a redshirt freshman cornerback. “Not even close.” ...

Normally this would be one of my favorite articles of the bowl season. I don't think I could eat a Whataburger now...I'm just sick to my stomach.
