CLEVELAND — It will be an old-fashioned Texas shootout Sunday afternoon in Cleveland Browns Stadium when Colt McCoy from the Browns and Andy Dalton from the Bengals draw at 1 p.m.
McCoy won 45 games for the University of Texas from 2006-2009, making him the winningest college quarterback in college history.
Dalton isn’t far behind. He won 42 games in four years at Texas Christian.
The comparison doesn’t end there. McCoy, taken in the third round in 2010, is the new and latest hope for the Browns at quarterback. Dalton, taken by the Bengals in the second round in April, is carrying the hopes of a Cincinnati fan base weary of losing. ...
