That is usually the part of the day when I get some In-N-Out.

Yeah…same. It was a once-in-a-lifetime two weeks and I will cherish both trips for the rest of my days.

I realized the eve before Georgia’s shellacking of our Frogs, when all my old friends group seemed to be around, especially at the hotel bar/lobby, that these games were always about the trip and US. From the Poulan Weedeatwer Independence Bowl to the Liberty Bowl to the (really short trip) Fort Worth Bowl, Poinsettia Bowl, Rose Bowl, Alamo Bowl(s) Cheez It Bowl and these past two weeks, that the memories are about US. The games, while important at the time, brought the group closer together like nothing else ever could. I don’t know if we’d be as close as we are were it not for those bowl games.

As I stare at my savings account, and the shellacking it took, I also look at my spirit, the core of my emotions and self,
account, and I will tell you that I have contributed a great deal to that account, hasta la raiz, and there is no cash value to compare to those contributions.
