A somewhat reckless start, and then a 73-60 Iowa State victory against TCU Saturday afternoon at new Schollmaier Arena.
There was a rousing success against top-ranked Oklahoma last week. Perennial Big 12 Conference villain Kansas comes to Hilton Coliseum this Monday.
“Did they beat Texas?” Cyclones coach Steve Prohm inquired during his postgame press conference.
