I am not really sure why you are so worked up over this. I personally do not think we have lesser talent, but the truth of the matter is these are under recruited guys. I am aware that the article cherry picked some data, but it was also pointing out some significant contributors. Maybe I am just missing your point. I just don't see anything wrong with players playing with a chip because TCU was one of the few schools that recognized their talent. Gladney - thats a bummer what happened to his knee but fact is he was still under recruited and passed over by Texas. Daniels isn't listed as a starter. Hopefully he is this week. Gaines - because they didn't list his Utah offer proves he wasn't under recruited? Bethley - they obviously cherry picked by leaving this out. Collier - what does his high school putting out d-1 players have to do with him being overlooked by the big schools? Banogu - because he was hurt doesn't mean others couldn't recruit him. You are right - Gary does some serious rock flipping and finds guys that other schools miss. I agree that these kids are probably just as talented as kids that go to Texas but just go unnoticed. I can see why this article might be slighting to our players but I like how it provides that chip. That's how our program has become successful. As soon as you fill your roster with a bunch of guys like Texas has that think they are better than everyone else then you have a problem. The only thing I am falling for is the premise that either Texas didn't think they were good enough or they went unnoticed.
