TCU 27 - 34 Tech.

I'll believe consecutive conference wins when I see them. It's been a while. I think the Frogs dig deep and find a way to lose.
I can certainly see how anyone could have those thoughts. The offensive play calling is non-sensical at times. Constantly going 5-wide against UU to basically telegraph what our single dimension offense is doing, and continually throwing stop routes 2 yards short of the down/distance marker is just stupid.

Who knows what will happen against TT? I hope we actually see a plan from the offense and they stop playing out of fear. I hope we see the continued play of the young defenders and actually see more of Bax with Cooper out and a critical need to pressure the passer.

No clue how this season ends up, no idea how some of the big issues on this roster and this program get fixed, but for the first time in a while they did show some very positive things that have at least aroused curiosity to see if the growth continues with some of the youngsters and who is the next to emerge.

Winning and losing can both become habits. String together two wins, and with the garbage schedule we have this year it might become four wins just like that.

We win the game (55-38)
We win the turnover margin (+1)

More confidence that we score 55 than we actually win the turnover battle, but hope springs eternal.

Frogs lose convincingly in a game that they never even look interested in.

42-17 rash
Frogs lose 3 balls and get one.

I have no idea, but I will play.

I truly hope since it is homecoming weekend, TCU finds extra motivation to win this game. If Hoover limits his wild throws into double and triple coverage, and we can run the ball - which we should against the Tech defense - then we might get a win here. Tech has a good RB so that is a concern. This game could come down to who makes the least amount of errors.

35 - 28 TCU over Tech
TO's - 3 for us and 3 for them :)))
Lisa, I think you win the Prediction Thread this week.
Congrats!

This was one final touchdown drive away from being painfully accurate.

The Frogs are starting to find ways to win instead of ways to lose. It's tentative. The offense still disappears for long stretches and turns the ball over almost as often as it gets in the end zone, and the defense is not going to attain a level above "good" with mid-season improvements from the low-tide mark of "abysmal" against SMU. But there are signs of progress and a good-ish overall season is still in play.

Consecutive conference wins for the first time since 2022! Go Frogs!

My prediction is obnoxious and drunk Tech fans.

One got walked by the police a section over from us during the game. I think it may have been a language issue. As in lots of bad words in front of kids.

The Tech home game is my lease favorite to attend. I actually dread it with most of the fans being overly obnoxious.
I’m used to seeing obnoxious fans. But there are limits. Tech fans are odd. They thing that place is the greatest. They hate losing to us as much as they hated losing to aggy.
I don’t know if I’d say they have little brother syndrome. I am real familiar with Auburn, and it doesn’t quite seem like that.
