This team as it presetly stands is not built for the postseason. We have 1, maybe 2 starting pitchers, a bullpen with only 2 reliable guys, 5 errors (likely more) on the weekend, and we get picked off every game. Sure the lineup is good but there isn't a Skoug/Luken type guy. This is simply not a winning posteason formula- you cannot outhit everyone every game. The first chance we run into some first round Ace we are toast.
Pitching and defense carry the day in the postseason and we have little of each. Today's performance is a Christmas scheissing joke. We are just trotting out HS level arms to get shelled by a team missing 2 of its best hitters

I still think not letting Krob get out of his jam yesterday cost us the series. But it’s easy to make second guesses from my Monday morning QB position. Oh well! Hopefully we continue to improve from now until the post season.

Curious if this is a fork in the Conference road. We're 7-2 (with an anvil), and the raider rash is surging after a thrashing of the Frogs. Their confidence is soaring, while we are realizing that we have problems on the mound and in the field, and our performance at the plate won't offset the first two problems.

We need a Teakell or Appleby on this team. A long haul reliever who can come in at any time and eat up innings while giving your offense a chance.
