Yeah, not sure how Florida got a 1 seed in this competition. They were late enough blooming as a program that their design has never been "classic" but not so late to have ever been trendy. It would be like if the Frogs had won a national championship with the Flying T and then felt compelled to keep the design long after its expiration date due to the association.
But some people like '60s architecture.
TCU picked the right time to adopt a retro look that looks classic while being adaptable to new-school variations.
