I think the shooter told the cops that he would have shot more people but ran out of ammo.
So potentially a mass shooter, stopped by the cops but media forgets that part.

Which part is confusing? He shot and killed someone, and was apprehended by the police. He said he world have shot more people but ran out of ammo.

If the police wouldn't have apprehended him, he likely would have gotten more ammo and killed more.

It was random. And he didn’t say he, “would have shot more people,” if he hadn’t run out of rounds. He would’ve shot the witness who saw him shoot Wes Smith. A dangerous guy and bad character. Comes off like Thug Life, for sure. There are more details but it wouldn’t be helpful at this point. I’ve said this much because the “potential mass shooting,” stuff is overwrought nonsense.
