Syracuse.com: Syracuse basketball knocks out TCU, will face Michigan State next

Detroit -- The Syracuse Orange fought through fatigue and fouls for a gutty 57-52 victory over Texas Christian University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament here at the Little Caesars Arena on Friday.

Two days after outlasting Arizona State 60-56 in the NCAA Tournament's First Four in Dayton, Ohio, on Wednesday, Syracuse traveled to Detroit to face the No. 6 seeded Horned Frogs.
A thin Syracuse team, consisting of just seven scholarship players and heavily reliant on its starting five, scrapped and clawed for 40 minutes and actually pulled away from TCU in the game's final minutes.
