Stillwater News Press: Cowboy linebackers create havoc in upset of Horned Frogs

Oklahoma State linebackers Jordan Burton and Chad Whitener created fits for TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin.
Not only did Burton and Whitener lead OSU with 12 tackles each – which marks a career high for Whitener, while it was one shy of Burton’s best set last week at Texas Tech – they disrupted the passing game in multiple levels.
Burton – who was the defensive captain for the game – had one of OSU’s three sacks of Boykin and recorded his first career interception in the opening quarter, ending a streak of 94 pass attempts without an interception for the TCU quarterback. It was Boykin’s sixth interception of the year in 303 attempts at that point. ...
