Sptspage: If TCU eyes about-turn, Frogs need to take care of the ball

As we know, the era of Big Data has infiltrated just about every facet of sport, and as figures go in football there is one number TCU needs to correct, well, stat.
Being disproportionately in the red in turnover margin is a better-than-reliable indicator of where you don’t want to be in the standings when they turn off the scoreboards in late November.
The Horned Frogs again committed more turnovers than their opponent in a disappointing loss to Texas Tech on Thursday.
It could have been worse, if that’s any consolation, which, of course, it’s not. The final stat sheet showed the Frogs with three turnovers, but over the course of the game’s 60 minutes, they fumbled four times, losing only one of those.
