The TCU Horned Frogs are experiencing a big transfer portal season as they have reportedly secured the commitment of California Golden Bears star forward Marta Suarez. The 22-year-old had multiple offers from several programs but chose to join Notre Dame transfer Olivia Miles in working with Horned Frogs coach Mark Campbell for the new season, according to SI's Nick Grimonte on Friday.

She reportedly selected the Horned Frogs over offers from Notre Dame, North Carolina and Ohio State. TCU had a fantastic NCAA Tournament, reaching the Elite Eight. However, it went down fighting against Texas.

I think next seasons team is shaping up to be even better than this past season. So excited for TCU WBB. Now if only the men can catch up…
Lots of talent coming in w a couple of pieces from this season. But there was magic this year and it’s always hard to replicate that magic.

wonder if Charlie Creame has us in his others receiving votes yet or not?

Will be quite a bit more depth on the roster next year. Not only will the rotation expand to 9 or 10 regular players, but HCMC can play small-and-fast, or go really big for interior D, pairing two 6-6+ posts.

Will be interesting to see if the team pushes the pace next year. HCMC said at the start of last season that he wanted to run, but the combination of a short bench and a high-efficiency offense meant they were better off being patient in half-court sets.

With D. Hunter being such a good defender, I think we could see a lot of Miles-Scherr-Hunter-Suarez-Silva early, playing much faster than what we saw this past season.

Think that makes three players of 6’7” and one 6’8” now on roster next year
Actually Emily Hunter is reported as 6'8" on X also here:

That would actually be two 6'7" and two 6'8" players.
My eyes don't lie.
Emily was at the end on the team bench January and afterwards.
She was in the team huddles before games and during time outs.
And it was easy to see she was taller than Sedona.
