We have some serious competition this year--and it doesn't include BYU.
SDSU has played very well. Should be 4-0 but were robbed of a win by a bad call against Missouri. The Hoke-Long regime has the Aztecs playing at a different level with good talent. They will beat us if we're not at our best. Utah under Whittington is always good. They've played well and doubtless think they're our match. That game looms larger and larger as The Biggest Game of the Year for us. And AF never lets down and is playing smart.
NM, UNLV, CSU, even Wyoming, are dangerous only if we take them for granted. BYU in a down cycle but risky to assume they're going to play us poorly. Still SDSU, Utah, TCU even Wyoming should all beat BYU based on performance so far.
