Will Baker rains 3s on TCU as Texas snaps 4-game losing streak

AUSTIN — Desmond Bane tempted fate and paid the price.
In defense of the TCU senior, staying tethered to Texas’ Will Baker didn’t seem like a priority considering the freshman center had missed 24 of 25 from 3-point range to start his career.
So Bane gravitated toward Texas guard Andrew Jones off a screen action and left the big man some space at the top of the key. Baker wheeled around on his pivot foot to face the hoop. Bane was a few feet away, no real threat to contest the shot of a 7-footer.
