I think that what FROGSTOMPER has managed to prove is that TCU was by far the better team last January and the final score failed to reflect that. I think most of us already knew that.

Watch out. Using that logic, we will be watching Ohio State and Alabama in the MNCG.

I had leftovers from Tillmans. Ate there last night with my fiance and future father in law. his words "the best meal ive had in fort worth".

I know that a lot of people like Tillman's, but to me, meh. It's o.k., but it's about the same as 100 other restaurants. I know to each his own, though.

Then look at the numbers from September wise guy -

— Boise State's yardage margin (total offense minus total defense) is 312 yards this year — a 108 percent increase over last year. TCU's yardage margin is 277 yards, a 28 percent increase.

— Boise State's scoring margin is 34.4 points per game, a 37 percent increase. TCU's scoring margin is 32.9, a 29 percent increase.

— Boise State has made larger gains than TCU in rushing offense, total offense, scoring offense, rush defense, total defense, scoring defense and sacks.

— Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore has improved his efficiency rating by 30.73 points — or 19 percent. That's particularly impressive because Moore finished No. 2 in the nation last year. TCU quarterback Andy Dalton's rating is up 9.8 percent.

— Boise State's big wins in 2009 and 2010 are similar — the Broncos were more dominant against Oregon in 2009, but they beat Virginia Tech on the road. TCU's big wins are similar, too — they crushed Utah this year and crushed Utah and BYU last year.

— Boise State's most-criticized performance last year was a seven-point win at Tulsa. Its most-criticized performance this year was a 29-point win against Louisiana Tech, a game the Broncos led by 36 when the starters left. TCU's most-criticized win last year was a three-point decision at Air Force. Its most criticized win this year was a 17-point decision at SMU.

— And, finally, TCU's schedule ranks 62nd in the Sagarin Ratings. Its schedule was 60th last year. Boise State's schedule currently ranks 72nd. Its schedule ranked 96th last year. In fact, the Broncos' schedule this year is projected to finish ahead of TCU's.

The point: If Boise State was the better team in January, when the Broncos won the Fiesta Bowl, and it's the more improved team this year, what makes so many people think the Horned Frogs are the better team this year?

We've watched them play and listened to opposing coaches who also played TCU last year. Probably a little better way to compare than looking at your numbers, all due respect. I also think the voters know the way CGP plays the game. He could have called the score in over half the games this year.

Pretty much. Plus, TCU and Boise didnt play the exact same teams last season and they have this season.

And if Gary cared about points, yards, and that kind of crap (especially on offense), then TCU's numbers would be vastly improved. As we all know, even if the ignorant troll is oblivious, Gary has been trying to limit TCU's offense in the 2nd half all season and having trouble doing it.

We have all seen that the offense in year 2 of the genius boys is improved over last season, how Ed is just a beast, how Boyce is better than anything we have had in awhile, etc.

And we have seen how the defense has really dominated while running a different scheme in years past ( a lot less blitzing).

So, troll, go home and hope that Boise does not struggle against Utah State, Fresno, and Idaho. We already know that Nevada will push Boise to the limit, given the history in that series.

So what you're saying is that we started awesome and stayed awesome, whereas you guys just recently became awesome?

Sounds about right.

Cool story bro.

Stats and numbers can be used in a plethora of ways and can be manipulated to support countless arguments, but it's not really going to change anything on here in terms of people's opinions. The majority on here are going to think we have the upper hand on Boise State because we are biased towards TCU and have seen TCU more in-depth.

Vice versa if one of our fans did something like this in Boise State environment.

Go Away! Why don't you spend your time trying to convince the Sugar Bowl or Orange Bowl to select you. Otherwise you will be relegated to whatever sorry bowl game invites the WAC champion. Boise is not going to pass TCU, face it. And you're not going to convince anyone here that Boise is better than TCU, because you're not better. Congrats on the nice wins against OU, Oregon and VT. Now prepare for the beat down that we will give you guys in conference next year.
