Probably a smart play in the long run. I'm sure a lot of people will have an issue with it, but from a purely practical standpoint, it's not a dumb move.

If we are lucky enough to have the Utah game firmly in control maybe we should play down the MOV that way they don't drop too much in the human polls. With a higher ranked Utah we get more help from the computers.

On the flip side, what about trying to score one more time to make the score look even closer than it actually was?

Hate the call from a competitive standpoint. Don't like a coach giving up like that.
