Liver cancer claims Hillman at age 31. He was part of the only Mountain West team to keep it within a touchdown of the Frogs during TCU's Rose Bowl season. (He had 20 for 54 for SDSU in that game). Also played against TCU the following year (13 for 55) before going on to win a championship with the Broncos.

Former Broncos RB Hillman dies of cancer at 31

Former Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman has died after a bout with cancer, his family announced Thursday. He was 31.
