No it isn’t. Health may well be the actual issue but it is 100% not the reason Gary has given recently when he’s addressed the matter.

Where did I say that you crossed a line? I said I would never say we don’t “NEED” a kid like you did - you DID say that, right? I just pointed out that we NEEDED an injured JR to take a couple of snaps in a bowl game just a few months ago because we didn’t have any other healthy qbs at the time. That is a statement of fact, period. Now if you want to say that you could’ve phrased it differently, then that’s fine but those were your words.

I've seen that one. Didn't know if there's a more recent version or not, because Rogers isn't behind Downing on that depth chart.

I get your point about being on the travel team though. Assuming Downing was and Roger's wasn't? Curious if that has anything to do with consistency of guys signaling the offensive play calls rather than an indication of depth chart rank.

Its difficult to learn the signals from 15 years ago that we are still using. It's like learning an ancient language.
