I noticed a bandage on his finger last night. Didnt look to be serious.
He had the blister going into the Kansas game.

Doubtful, but I heard he hadn't really pitched at all prior to those four innings.
He had the alumni game, but supposably he wasn't pitching at 100% there.

Darn, I was really looking forward to that Purke vs. Noe Ramirez matchup. Not that Winkler vs. Ramirez will be a letdown...I see a very low scoring series happening this weekend.

I hear ya. I know Purke v Ramirez had a lot of luster, but after the way Wink pitched on Saturday I feel just as confident in a W. I really like the way Wink, Max, Purke sounds this weekend.

He had it before the game, and "blister" probably isn't the right word to describe what it is. Either way, it's nothing serious.
You could say that after the Super Regional last year but NOT after the CWS results.
Hopefully you are correct this year! That would be awesome for the Frogs.

Great the only game I can go to is Sunday, thanks to basketball playoffs.
