We were supposed to have one of the best pitching staffs in the nation but in reality we have one of the worst. We'd be better off just staying home this post season. We are not good enough to play in the field of 64.

I completely understand OP’s frustration. Not the worst obviously, but very disappointing. Starters and relievers have been so bad or inconsistent or both. With so many former pro pitchers on staff, why can we not have one of the better staffs?

fairly sure kirk doesn't have any eligibility left, aside from him who else made it to the majors?

Purke - bullpen coach. Organizes some great home run dances in the pen. Unfortunately…haven’t seen that in the post season.

guess, 10-15 games from a guy whose rep in high schoo, make that his senior year in high school, l was he only listened to his private pitching coach

as far as organizing the dances, if they have time for that and aren't getting the job done something is scheissing wrong

Some folks need to see what bad pitching really looks like. Frogs scored 11 runs in 3 games and three of those were gifted.
We really have only 3 hitters who would play regularly for other Big 12 teams - Sacco, Nunez and Taylor. The demise of Brown really hurt. We need to recruit hitters like OSU and OU have. - large, strong kids who want to hit the crap out of every pitch.
