So, the season starts now (I thought it started in Palo Alto, but what do I know). Both teams are 2-0 and facing their first conference opponent and facing each other for the first time.

This looks to be a good, close match-up with UCF #1 in rushing offense and #3 in total offense in the country. TCU is 37th in rushing defense and 13th in total defense.

TCU is 15th in passing offense and 45th in total offense. UCF is 43rd in passing defense and 18th in total defense.

So, each team's weakness on defense is the others strength on offense. However it has only been 2 games and TCU played at Stanford and home against LIU while UCF has had 2 home games against New Hampshire and Sam Houston.

Current line is TCU -1.5 though it has moved back and forth this week with UCF the one-time favorite after TCU opened at -1.5

For TCU, stopping RB RJ Harvey (avg 8.9 YPC) will be key and this will be another huge test for the new defense under Andy Avalos. I have a lot of faith in this new defense and think this may not be quite as close as some think.

Offense: Hoover
Defense: Obiazor
Special teams: Richardson

UCF 17 TCU 31
