Renowned physicist dead at 76.
Our universe will miss his knowledge and vision of how it worked. Such a deep loss for the next generation to no longer have his mind to lend a hand.
How he lived like 40+ years with ALS blows my mind.
Do you even HASMSP, bro?
Damn. Always was amazed by his intellect and ability to persevere.
In related news, Dr. Sheldon Cooper is on suicide watch.
Rather embarrassed to admit but Sheldon was one of the first things i thought of when I read that Hawking had passed away.
Literally the first thought that popped into my head.
Actually 52-53 years instead of the two years that was expected. Remarkable. Good luck for the world of Physics.
The world lost a preeminent mind. Was a great scientist and an even better human.

My wife’s uncle was diagnosed with ALS in 2013. He was given 1 year. He struggles but still walks some and even drives. It’s been a slow progression but here we are 5 years later. You never know for sure.
I doubt the reason you watch that show is for intellectual value.
first thing that popped into my mind was hawking would find out if he opinions on god were right or not
I nominate Briles, Bakefield and the 2014 Playoff Committee for the first trip to colonize Mars in his honor.
