OT: CBS Fires Gus Johnson

I don't know anybody who didn't like Gus Johnson. Thought he was a great announcer who showed a lot of emotion. Some of his game calls will be the ones I remember most. It makes me wonder what the people that are the heads of these stations are thinking (CBS getting rid of Gus, the Rangers getting rid of Lewin, ESPN getting rid of Harold Reynolds.. but I think that was because of sexual harassment or something). Am I the only one who loved listening to Gus call a game?

Reports of popular sports broadcaster Gus Johnson parting ways with CBS are premature, source says

Gus has been given an offer by Fox for the NFL and Pac 12 duties. He's taking it back to CBS to start a bidding war. Funny enough...he's calling the Pacquiao fight on Saturday as of right now.

Honestly, he's the future of CBS and they can't afford to lose him.

Lewin's contract was up and he wanted more money then the rangers were willing to pay. That being said if I knew who was replacing him a would have pitched in towards his contract
