It's funny because ...
1 -- while the Big East was publicly courting C-USA schools, Banowsky was hiding in Flower Mound bedroom (offices were in Chicago) and was basically invisible for months.
2 -- When he finally came public, hisbplan was to let those schools go by getting their exits waived, and then grabbing the bottom parts of the WAC at that time.
3 -- Overwhelming feeling by several admins within and outside C-USA that Banowsky was working the only goal to save his job.
4 -- Hyman had taken the initiative and was working on a mergernwith the Big East -- and making signifcant process, until Banowsky jumped in and undercut the whole thing with a give-away to save his job.
5 -- If Neinas was in on C-USA meetings as he claims, he knows how certain presidents were all over Banowsky during and after that giveaway.
