I'll let other debate small ball. It seems Pharm knows his ball and I respect his input, if not always agree. But who knows what goes on in our practices. Well, some do but they aren't a part of our silly GDT banter.

I have never been a fan of small ball. But, in my opinion only, every single player on every single college team needs to know how to successfully bunt.

And that's my point...our staff is too good not to have our guys prepared for EVERY situation. Even if you don't plan on using it. And bunting isn't like executing a double steal or crazy trick pick off play. It's one of the fundamentals of baseball that can easily win you games.

It's not like we are the '27 Yankees...its a dead bat era and with our pitching 1 run can be like 5.
