Haven't seen it posted here, but New Mexico defeated Stanford 9-5 yesterday and Minnesota downed Fullerton 3-1. The winner of the New Mexico/Minnesota game should be in the driver's seat in a bracket where the two top seeds will need to play out of the losers bracket.

This is crazy! If New Mexico wins tonight, they play for the championship of the regional without having lost a game. Meaning they have 2 chances to win the region. Have to win tonight though....!

They lost their best hitter in a collision at home plate with a knee injury. Sad situation. Anyway, 3-2 Loboos top 6.

In other news, Arrieta made a relief appearance tonight for Norfolk Tides. Looks like he may be called up soon to join the pen in Baltimore. Seems like similar thing happened with Cash (started this entire year and then two relief appearances before joining Cubs pen). We shall see though.
