Muscatine Journal: Rivera extends hitting streak to 23 games
FORT WORTH, Texas - Brance Rivera is in a groove right now.
The Muscatine High School graduate and Texas Christian University junior baseball player extended his hitting streak to 23 games over the weekend.
Rivera had four hits and drove in four during Saturday's win over Houston. Then on Sunday, the outfielder hit a double in his final at-bat to extend the streak. The 23-game streak is the longest by any player under TCU head coach Jim Schlossnagle.
