That second part doesn’t really surprise me at all, given the widening revenue gap between the big 2 conferences and everyone else.

Considering the number of teams in the B10+ and SEC and the money they share, along with ND, it would be difficult to crack the top 30. Stanford (surprisingly and questionably), Florida State and Duke barely get in there.

This shows that TCU is very valuable and big time. Whenever the Super league is formed TCU will be in it.

Still think they were a school that needed to be added because of the city of Houston and the exposure the Big 12 needs down there for TV viewing and recruiting. They have their own Sugar Daddy to keep the programs going with Tilman Ferttitta.

Their men's BB program is definitely a quality add to the Big 12,best team last 2 years no doubt. Rest of their programs, not so much(although they did beat a very uninspired TCU football team last season).
