More QB confusion under cumbie...

Meanwhile, USC starts last night against what is reputed to be a very salty Utah defense with their backup QB, a TRUE FRESHMAN. Dude gets concussed on the very first series, and USC screams down the field for a TD, and goes on to win the game throwing all over the field, with their THIRD STRING QB. How does Graham freaking Harrell know so much more about this offense, as a FIRST-YEAR OC, than the guy with the same pedigree who has about 7 or 8 years experience on him????

Totally agree... Unless Patterson has secretly taken over as many people believe has happened.

Was I supposed to type something here?
The game plan against SMU was simple, if one merely observed their.weaknesses. Run the ball down their throats. Non stop. Sonny, of course, decided to break with the obvious, and throw. The result was the tampon pizza of a game I got up and left from.
Sonny Cumbie has failed this team and his fellow coaches. This was a total abortion of a winnable game, that only complete failure and lack of adequate preparation could lose. Sonny managed to do it.
Bravo, Sonny. The next 8 weeks will be great...

Yup. I said it yesterday, this should've been run, run, run, overthrow, run run. By now, SMU would be giving up 15-20 Yards per Carry to Sewo, and 60 to DA.

If Cumbie is not fired after this performance Im not sure what it will take. He has ruined 4 or 5 quarterbacks and this offense looks like it is by far the worst in the conference. When you keep plugging in new, all star players and we continue to get the same results time after time... At this point, I'm willing to grab someone out of the damn stands to call plays.

The offense play calling was horrendous. Then we went hurry up, all the sudden players looked like they had talent. Then the last drive Cumbie started calling plays again, and immediately went back to horrendous. He’s got the playing calling touch of a brick layer.

Collins is NOT the answer...Switching QBs is NOT the answer....The problem is the guy calling plays and coaching these guys...Cumbie is 100% the problem..How many 4star kids does he have to turn into 2star talents before people around stop searching the locker room for the answer. The problem is on sideline

There were enough plays called for scores and a win.
Very poor execution by the offense not to mention the to's.
So far, both qb's look overwhelmed.
Get Collins back asap. At least he completes plays. Especially the routine ones.
Season is still salvageable.

Not understanding why there are so many expecting new players at the qb position to outperform one who has played and won already.
Should be a noticeably better offense when he gets back.
They just need to finish plays.

Watching Collins on the sideline, he has the look of a guy he doesn’t expect to get in the game anytime soon.
