EAST LANSING — The number on his jersey looks ridiculous on him.
Not because the No. 8 isn't associated with the fullback position — or a soon-to-be defensive tackle, for that matter.
No, it's the whole idea of having any single-digit on a 6-foot-3, 290-pounder.
But that's Lawrence "LT" Thomas, an athletic specimen who has coaches lobbying for his services and considering him at multiple spots, even though he's only a redshirt freshman.
Thomas, who has started this season at fullback, is willing to go where he is needed most, and in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl that will including lining up on offense and defense. ...
