Memphis.com: Bumpas Selected for SWC Hall of Fame

WACO, Texas - Former Razorback defensive lineman Dick Bumpas was named as one of the nine members to the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame Class of 2017 announced by the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
Bumpas, a Fort Smith native, was a three-year letterwinner as defensive lineman from 1968-70.
A captain in 1970, Bumpas recorded 53 tackles for the league's top defense and earned first team All-Southwest Conference and consensus All-America honors.
