K-State flounders on offense in 61-47 loss to TCU
There was a moment in the second half of Kansas State’s 61-47 loss to TCU Wednesday night when the tide seemed to be turning, and the Wildcats’ stagnant offense seemed to have finally hit its stride in an otherwise lifeless outing.

It was in the final seconds of the third quarter, when senior forward Kali Jones got a mid-range jumper from the baseline to take a friendly bounce and fall through the net. It trimmed TCU’s lead to eight headed into the fourth frame.

The shot didn’t lead to much for the hosts. TCU held K-State at bay for the rest of the game, and with it, the Wildcats’ stagnant offense that never get off the ground.
