It's ok 57. This is America. You can like Obama if you like! I just happen to think he is a GD communist socialist who is hell bent on destroying our country. I still love you even if you are misguided and do not understand the truth as I know it.

How about some specific examples?

It isn't enough to rely on talking points of the gop and fox news. Concrete verifiable examples of policy that has been introduced as legislation. Not feelings or what you think they will do--factual examples.

Shaking hands on the international stage isn't an example nor indication of agreement on issues. I know you guys think the bush "cowboy way" of foreign policy is the way to go, but even the sainted Reagan shook hands with folks not aligned in anyway with US interests.

And the talking points of Obama and the other 99% of the media is the truth?

So if I understand this thread, either Obama's preventing us from playing LSU in 2011 or the game will be sponsored by Fox News and Hugo Chavez. But I'm not sure I've got that right ...

you almost had it correct, but you forgot to mention the referee crew will consist of Rachel Maddow, Keith Olberman and Sean Penn.

It would be really funny if he maneuvered around the field in a little canoe like he did in New Orleans ...

The Hot Girl on Fox News just told me that DeLoss Dodds has forbade LSU from playing TCU and instead Hugo Chavez is going to seize TCU and make the TCU Showgirls cook Flan for International Workers day.

Has anyone ever seen Hugo Chavez and DeLoss Dodds in the same room at the same time?

I'm just sayin' ...

Do you ever watch Fox News or do you just have some preconceived notion of what they report? I watch CNN and BBC all the time and I watch Fox too. I pretty much believe I am objective. Are you? In my opinion, Fox is probably less biased than any of the others but if you are unable to analyze the truth as best you can from the various media that are available then we are in trouble. I challenge myself with other points of view daily yet I come back to the best analysis of the news available and that is Fox. If you want to believe what the 90% liberal media shove down your throat, then go ahead and listen to Obermann--he probably tells you what you already wanted to hear.

The problem is the opinion folks are hardly distinguishable from the news folks now. In fact, they are getting closer to being biased in one direction only. That is hard for the average viewer to distinguish from the other when it comes to bias, especially those who watch it all the time. That is why fox news falls back on the fair and balanced BS to reinforce the blurring of the lines between reporting the news and opinionated talk. I'd like to see a recent study on this blurring of lines but I have seen items on the Internet that show how much blurring of the lines fox news has become since a former bush operative has taken over the top spot.

Plus, you mention fox tells you what you want to hear and vice-versa. I rarely watch any news because they are all biased. I hate to knock you Putt, but I have to tell you you rarely seem objective when it comes to politics, just saying.

Anyway, I have a healthy appreciation for the news media as my family was in it thru various outlets over 40+ years.

This LSU alum was very ,very positive about LSU and TCU playing in 2011 . He didn't say how he knew only that it was going to happen . His wife is a TCU alum and that's what brought the discussion up .
Also he saw the "Horned Frog Country " sign on the front of my garage .
