Laramie Boomerang: Shorthanded Cowboys lose to TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas — Winning on the road has been hard enough for the University of Wyoming over the last few seasons when its had a bench full of healthy bodies.
With its leading rebounder and assists man back in Laramie, the prospect of snapping a 16-game road losing streak only became that much more difficult against TCU on Wednesday.
Starters Djibril Thiam (turf toe) and JayDee Luster (hip-pointer), who together average around 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists, didn’t make the trip due to their injuries. Neither did Afam Muojeke, who is expected to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
With the way the Horned Frogs were shooting from the outside, though, it may not have mattered who made the trip.
TCU guard Ronnie Moss shook off dismal performances against No. 6-ranked San Diego State and UNLV to score a game-high 27 points, including six 3-pointers, in a 78-60 victory at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. ...
