I saw Kurt Thomas mentioned in another thread and there was a little sidebar in today's NY Times about how the Bulls had signed him as "insurance" and how that signing was paying big dividends. I had no idea he was still playing in the NBA.
I found this on the Times website (there's a clip of him hitting a jumper in the link):

Big Sexy Paying Big Dividends for the Bulls
By FRED BIERMAN

Kurt Thomas played in only five of the Chicago Bulls’ first 24 games and on many nights he was on the bench in a suit rather than on the floor in a uniform. Then on Dec. 15 Joakim Noah was injured and was expected to be out six to eight weeks with a torn ligament in his thumb. Suddenly, Thomas was starting at center.

Unbelievable... we have a Alum on a playoff NBA team and moving to Big East Basketball... We should get a little BB recruiting bump out of that..?..

Living proof that at one time TCU did have a men's BB program.
