Kilgore News Herald: Daniels hopes for good showing at NFL combine

If he’s human, former Kilgore High School and Texas Christian University standout Wayne Daniels will probably have butterflies as big as Dallas on Thursday. That’s because Daniels will be one of about 300 potential National Football League draft prospects to participate in the league’s annual combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
The combine, which is basically a series of physical challenges the players go through in front of NFL team scouts, begins Thursday morning, and continues through next Tuesday, March 1. Daniels arrives at the combine on Saturday. ...
