KERA: Tarrant County Betting On TCU Rose Bowl Win

DALLAS, TX (KERA) - Pride and a case of beer will be riding on the outcome of Sunday's Rose Bowl matchup between TCU and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley says and he his counterpart in Wisconsin have made a friendly wager.
Whitley: Whoever wins the other has to wear the winning team's jersey or sweatshirt at the next court meeting. If TCU wins the guy from Wisconsin, Scott McDonald , will ship a case of beer down here. When TCU wins I may still ship a case of beer to show him what good beer is from Fort Worth Texas.
Whitley says the beer he plans to ship - win or lose- is brewed by a former TCU graduate, Fritz Rahr who owns Rahr and Sons in Fort Worth.
Whitley says the game is also a great opportunity to showcase Fort Worth to the country.
