Who will write it?
Too bad Mario Puzo died in 1999.
Only the author of “The Godfather” could capture the back-room dealing, back-stabbing, naked ambition and greed that is going on in college sports today.
With the Big East football conference in tatters, the league’s football schools’ presidents and athletic directors met at the Grand Hyatt in New York City on Tuesday.
What a grand place to plan a funeral.
The schools met for several hours and talked about building a “new” Big East and becoming stronger than ever now that Pittsburgh and Syracuse are headed to the Atlantic Coast Conference. ...
