I've been looking but no apparent explanation.

Meach was a heck of a lot better calling plays and making in game adjustments than SC.

Well also, it was the perfect offensive storm for us with Boykin, Green, Doctson, Bee, Oberkrom, and Turp plus a good offensive line. If we had that same unit for this year and OU being somewhat down, we could win conf. It was just an abundance of offensive talent at the same time.

Was he? I seem to remember a lot of 3rd and short fades and being bailed out by a Boykin scramble or Doctson miracle catch in traffic most of the time. Also, seems that he had a refusal to run the damn ball (with our stud RBs) in key situations to either control clock (see Baylor 2014) or against teams with REALLY bad run defenses (TT 2016 comes to mind).

Also recall a criminal misuse/non-use of TE talent, and general refusal to pass in the middle of the field, except on VERY rare occasions. It's almost like he wasn't a fan of watching D Gray burn the safety on a skinny post from the slot for an easy TD, or pick up a guaranteed 6+ yards on 3rd and 2 with a quick slant...

We need Doug with our OL, more than any other position coaching..He was a 3 year starter for OSU that went to 3 bowls... with all Big 8 honors.

He is not going to be the QB coach... what is the next most important position in the offense... correct, the OL and that is where he belongs ! Move Anderson to TEs.
Let Meach coach the OL AND the slot receivers. They line up right there together anyway.
